What is PTL?
PTL (Parent / Teacher League) is an organization designed to allow parents and teachers to interact and discuss issues critical to the school. Our focus is on fundraising and coordinating special events that promote cooperation and fellowship between parents and teachers. Meetings are the first Thursday of each month
How are funds raised?
Funds are raised through family fun nights, Christmas store, and our auction. Last year's auction netted over $9,000! We also coordinate fundraising and supply purchases through the SCRIP program, Amazon smile, and Box Tops for Education.
How are funds used?
In the last year, PTL has used funds to increase the library collection, to purchase teaching supplies for every classroom, buy printer cartridges for the library, pay for the accelerated reader program, recognize the 8th grade graduates, and show appreciation to the teachers during Teacher Appreciation Week. We continue to find ways to help the school meet its mission.
Why join PTL?
It is a great way to connect to the school while getting to know other parents and the teachers better. Joining PTL shows you care about making a difference in your child's school while modeling to your children the importance of being involved . It gives you a voice in determining how the funds raised are best spent. Most of all, it's fun!
